You normally have a lot of things going on during your move so CheshireRemovals.co.uk have created this checklist to help insure you haven't forgotton anything important.

• Charge up your mobile phone the night before.
• Confirm arrangements are in place to gain access to the new property.
• Make sure both the estate agent and your solicitor can get hold of you by phone.
• Speak to the removal company in Cheshire about how to label your boxes and how to deal with fragile items you may have.
• Check the new address for somewhere the removal company can park with access to the property.
• Check the movers insurance and timing.
• As more space becomes clear in your previous house clean it as good as possible.
• Make sure you've turned off the boiler/heating etc and any appliances are left in a safe condition.
• After everything has been moved do an inspection, remove any rubish and mark down meter readings for water, gas, electric.
• Leave the keys (labelled) with you estate agent.
• Leave the house making sure it's secured, windows and doors locked.
• Get access to the new house and do a quick inspection.
• Label each room so the removals company put the right boxes in the correct rooms.
• Make a cup of tea and start unpacking!
